For those of you who don't know, Bikram yoga is the HOT yoga. Lisa, Chelsea, and I all went to Peddlers last night to try it out for the first time. The room is heated to 105 degrees, with anywhere from 40 to 80% humidity. I had heard how intense it was, but actually experiencing it is amazing. I have never sweated that much in my life. Literally. I had sweat pouring off of my face. I loved it I have never felt that strong before. I was in love with myself after walking out of the studio. I felt amazing. I had so much positive energy flowing through me, and my body felt relaxed. I would suggest that everyone try this class. Not only is it fun, but it is a workout for every system in your body. Your mind just clears, and you can relax and get rid off stress. The classes are a little pricy, but totally worth it. Here are some tips if you decide to go. Wear shorts and a tank top or sports bra. whichever you feel more comfortable in. Take a large bath or beach towel with you. Take COLD water. Trust me, when you are sweating your face off, you wont want that 105 degree bottle of water. Sit by the door the first few times. its not as hot over there.
